GLOBAL SOLAR ENERGY INDEX (EUR) COMMITTEE

COMMITTEE/TEAM

Solactive AG is the Index Administrator for the EQM Global Solar Energy Index.

EQM Indexes LLC has assembled a team of financial and industry professionals with years of experience to serve on its Index Committee. The role of the Committee is to provide Solactive with the index selections meeting the index rules each quarterly rebalance/reconstitution date.

The members of the EQM Indexes LLC Index Committee are:

Jane Edmondson

Co-Founder of EQM Indexes LLC and Founder of EQM Capital LLC.

Ms. Edmondson is a former Quantitative Portfolio Manager with Allianz Global Investors and its predecessor firm Nicholas-Applegate. She started her career at Merrill Lynch and has more than 30 years of experience in the investment industry. She holds an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University and a BA from UC Irvine.

Stephen Derkash

Mr. Derkash leads EQM’s Global and ESG Product initiatives.  He has over twenty years of global portfolio management, investment banking and equity research experience and has worked as a Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management, a $40 billion hedge fund, and at UBS Asset Management. Prior to Millennium and UBS, Stephen worked with Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, in sell-side research with a leading European bank in Brazil, and on the emerging markets investment banking team at Lehman Brothers in New York. He holds an MBA from Wharton, an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute, and a BA from Georgetown University.

Stephen Scofield, CFA

Stephen currently serves as Vice President of Business Development for FLINTpro, an international venture that provides Climate Data Analytics to Government, Corporate Enterprise, NGO, and Financial Industry sectors. In his current and previous capacities, he advises asset owners, managers, consultants, and other intermediaries on their approach to carbon accounting and risk management practices.

Previously, he served in similar roles for market-leading sustainable investment consultancies and research providers, helping clients develop multi-asset class ESG integration programs. Stephen is former member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) working group for stakeholder relations, and has been internationally active across several initiatives sponsored by the United Nations’ Principles of Responsible Investment, CERES, and the Intentional Endowment Network.
